It’s been hot, hot, hot in Alaska this summer. Our record-breaking warm weather calls for fresh, spicy seafood flavor. Last night we pan-seared chili-dusted Aleutia sockeye and served it on top of a crisp, chilled chipotle slaw. What a combination.

SLOW-ROASTED ALEUTIA SOCKEYE
A simple glaze and low temperature oven yields out-of-this-world buttery flavor

Aleutia slow roasted salmon is so unbelievably tender and flavorful, it will literally melt in your mouth. We’ve brushed Aleutia dinner fillets with a little honey and placed them on a bed of fennel for a delicious springtime dish. So easy. So good. Put the fillets in the oven. Forget them for about 30 minutes. Enjoy the most tender salmon you have ever had.

Two teams. One game. Two delicious ways to celebrate your favorite with super bowl sockeye salmon sliders. For Patriots fans we combine wild sockeye salmon grilled with a buffalo sauce marinade and topped it with blue cheese and avocado. For Seahawks fans we’ve got teriyaki glazed sockeye with wasabi cream, spinach and ginger. They’re snack-sized, quick, easy and a great for the game. The question is, which one will you favor?
